Drag Superstar and one of my personal idols Jackie Beat continues her annual standing room only Holiday Show tour, sweeping the nation in a whirlwind tour stops continue from Portland (December 2nd) and Los Angeles (December 7th-9th) tomorrow December 12th in San Diego California (Bourbon Street: 4612 Park Blvd.) and will continue on through New York from 13th- 16th (The Cutting Room: 19 W. 24th Street, $18) picking up in San Francisco three nights December 20th-22nd (Empire Plush Room: 940 Sutter Street). I love Jackie Beat her insane humor and live music are an inspiration that this medium does have lasting power when used correctly, she is a staff writer for numerous t.v. series, fronts her own band Dirty Sanchez and even lent her voice as Bertha in "Kung-Fu Spy Troll" on Nickelodeon (which i have never been able to find out much about, apparently it aired in early 2005). I LOVE YOU JACKIE (not me, although i do love me too)
